Candidates for membership must meet the following requirements:

 

 

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience

• Must be able to read, understand, and agree with the DMA Code of Ethics

• Must complete, and pass an exam in the disciplines that you teach (Minimum of two)

• Exams are available in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics and Modern

To be an Active Member of DMC, a member must attend one (1) Grand Body Meeting per year. Attending this meeting, will give you the opportunity to meet new members and be an active voice in the membership. We offer a number of Director and Committee positions, so there are a lot of options and ways for you to get involved with the Chapter. The be a Member in Good Standing, all members must also abide by the rules of Dance Masters of Canada.
